| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing are open and difficult. Saw 10-12 people over a few groups turn back due to being soaked. At the cedar brook jct there's some very deep water that care must be taken to cross, we used a log just below the jct. We bush whacked the rest of the crossings until the final 2 which were more reasonable. Until these freeze or the water comes down these will present some issues. |

| Comments: |
I expected a fairly simple trek up and down the Hancocks, spent a lot of time to stay dry. Hancock notch is in rough shape and the snow is pretty solid o I don't see it changing much soon. The rest of the trails were decent shape. Id wait on these if you can since they were pretty tough today. We went up south and didn't see anyone going up north so the trail up north could be less than optimal for climbing. |
