managed to hike all day without spikes due to blowing them out on isolation the day prior. frozen granular made traction very manageable. slow going up and down the top steeper section, but only due to steepness, not so much the ice. snow sprinkles started around 9:30 and steady from noonish on. nobody on trails. |
