Comments
Comments: After participating in the successful Grid Completion of Bill Schor with Bill and Diane Schor, Per Frost and Cinella on Jefferson, a great day with great views. I decided to head over to Mt Hale.

The walk in on Zealand road was dry and uneventful on Hale Brook Trail I started wearing microspikes after the first brook crossing. They were definitely necessary. At points on upper Hale Brook the ice is quite thick. I lost light about 3/4 of the way up and used a headlamp the rest of the way. The stars were gorgeous. On the way down I had to stay to the sides on some of the heavy ice areas as micro spikes did not hold.

Super day.
