Comments
Comments: Really nice day out. Pretty warm and winds light. Gale River up to the small clearing above the river was dry or frozen and a very pleasant walk. Where the Gale River trail starts to climb was the beginning of a sustained ice flow that almost completely covered the trail. Got very slow. I used Hillshounds spikes and BarbaraR used micros. In any case bring sharp spikes and use care. Ice flow all the way to the summit of Galehead and appears to be the case climbing South Twin. Nice Job BarbaraR with all the ice
