Recommended Equipment: Light Traction, Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All were bridged or not big enough to mention.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails were well blazed and in good shape. I finally remembered to bring my saw and removed a couple 5-6" spruce and limbed up a birch top that was blocking the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Marlie did well today despite the amount of ice on the trail. 4 paws and a low center of gravity helps. Caution should be used in some spots to avoid a long slide.

Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a black glove on the Kinsman Ridge Tr.

Comments
Comments: Lots of ice along the Kinsman Ridge and Lonesome Lake Tr. You will want some sort of traction if taking these trails although I saw a few heading up from the lake without. I used microspikes from the third crossing of the ski trail and left them on until the big corner below the lake on Lonesome Lake Tr. Cannon's summit was in the clouds at 10:15 but an hour later the whole Franconia Ridge was in the clear under blue skies. The Pemi Tr was a nice walk despite the road noise.
