Comments
Comments: Mount Kinsman Trail was nice and clear with a few ice patches. Once closer to the Kinsman Ridge junction there were more ice flows where care needed to be taken. The Kinsman Ridge Trail definitely requires some traction. Anyone not wearing traction would be silly or stupid. I wore Microspikes but they weren't digging that well. I had crampons and they would have been a better option but I was too lazy to put them on. I just took extra care on the slopes. I wore the spikes all the way over to South Kinsman and then part of the way down the Mount Kinsman Trail. Early bird doesn't catch the worm today as summits were socked in and didn't clear until I was at the trailhead. Good day to be out.
