Comments
Comments: dark and dismal heading through the Notch but a different world in the North Country. Felt like spring at times. Trail started off with nice grippy snow and we barebooted to the little viewpoint. Quite windy just overhead here with some gusts reaching the ground. Micro spikes went on there and stayed ll the way back to there on a mix of snow conditions with some blue ice. Very windy at the hut, we didnt even pause as the gusts were pounding upslope from the Pemi, quite inhospitable. Footing to Galehead was fine, took a second to check out the couple of viewpoints then headed back down. Made it to the flats past the reroute before it started raining a bit. Poured with very dark skies headed through the notch. Good day out with Valerie
