We didn't have a dog and didn't see any out on the trails. |

| Comments: |
The trail was in good condition. It's the first time I've done this hike since they re-routed the beginning portion - the new section seemed like it would be a good one once it gets some more traffic. The temperatures were warm so there was little ice but there was plenty of slush. Wore microspikes for the final three miles leading to the summit and that's all we needed. |
