Comments
Comments: Ran up from Crawford trailhead. Used Inov-8 Mudclaws with Microspikes as the ice under the 1-2 inches of powder made things slick. With the Microspikes, no issue. Ran up (slow) in 44 minutes to the Mizpah Hut via Cutoff. The Crawford Path to the left was much heavier travelled than the Mizpah Cutoff. Passed some folks coming down from the Hut, doing a loop, so after than, the path was packed down better so I had better footing for a running stride. Snow slightly deeper with a few inches and deeper drifts at the Hut. Not snowshoe conditions up to that point. Didn't go any higher as it was later in the day. Video of conditions below.
