Several large blow downs headed up towards the north slide on the Tripyramid trail but were able to go over or around. Numerous blow downs after the south slide but were easy to step over. Blazes were sparse and difficult to see. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
North slide proved to be too slippery for dogs at this time. One person had to turn back with the dogs. |

| Comments: |
Snow covered the whole trail ranging in depth from 1-4". Ice was minimal today but it was tricky because you could not see it under the snow. North slide was snow covered and very difficult in microspikes. Snow depth was a couple inches over the whole slide and some icy spots at the bottom. Would not recommend the north slide right now! Trail was in great shape from north peak on. Used microspikes to descend south slide and it was not a problem. |
