trail in great shape for this time of year, without the usual ice flows between the log bridges between 1.0- and 2.0-miles |

met lots of dogs, mostly labs, including four with tracking antennae. |

cleaned about 100 water bars over the approx 2.0 miles below the second log bridge, as these had become filled with leaves, branches, stones, and other debris since cleaning before Sandy at the end of October; caught gorgeous sunset on summit |
