Trail Maintenance Notes: Three blowdowns along the way -- one walkaround, one walk-over and one that is just blocking half the trail or so.

Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any today. Parts of this trail could be difficult for dogs who were unaccustomed to the Northern Presidentials. Very rough rock.

Comments: very short sections of ice and snow but no traction needed today..nice to have the rocks around the caps all nice and dry

Absolutely gorgeous day out on Mt Jeff with 10-15mph winds at the summit and wall-to-wall sunshine. Only saw three other hikers all day. All that winter gear in our packs felt kind of silly, but we carried it all the way to the summit and back. Caps are always fun! Thanks to Mark for a great day out! Happy Thanksgiving! V--
