Comments
Comments: The Crawford Path up to Mizpah Cut-off had some black ice but most was avoidable with careful foot placement. From Mizpah Cut-off there was significant ice and great care had to be taken to aviod a fall. I wore micros from Webster-Jackson all the way to Eisenhower Loop. There was some thick patches just past WJT that would say requires some sort of traction device. To attempt it without would be silly. Eisenhower Loop was doable without traction. I used traction back down to Mizpah Cut-off and then barebooted back to Crawford Notch.

It was a great day to be out. I passed two people on my way up and didn't run into anyone until I retraced back to Pierce. The winds were calm and the views were spectacular. With the Cheetah in hibernation and Slowshoes in Rhode Island going for the land speed record on Jerimoth Hill, I thought it would be a good day to get out by myself. I appreciate my days when I can stand on top of a peak on a gorgeous day with 360 views, no one around, and not a sound to be heard. Today I give thanks.
