Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Ice - Blue
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only two - on Liberty Spring trail and the herd path. Easy to deal with.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Only a couple of blowdowns between Little Haystack and the junction with Liberty Spring Trail. Easy to deal with.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only water on this route is at the beginning of the Old Bridle Path and about a mile before the end of Liberty Spring. The last 1/2 mile to the Greenleaf Hut and about 1/4 of a mile after the hut has significant ice. Some sections are not easy to bypass and will/could be difficult for dogs (no Cinnilla today because of the ice concerns).
Bugs
Bugs: Actually spotted 3.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a pair of gloves (Black, Mountain Hardwear) at the Greenleaf Hut. Please e-mail me if they are yours.

Comments
Comments: Except for the short ice sections around Greenleaf Hut trail-conditions are perfect right now. Used microspikes for only 10-15 minutes but they are worht bringing for just that short usage.
