Quite a bit of ice on Edmands Path below treeline, temperatures in the 20s. A few sections require crampons, and an ice axe would be helpful in one spot about 1 mile from the summit. Barebooted the first 1-1.5 miles, wore crampons the rest of the way. Gorgeous sunny day above treeline, felt like 45-50 degrees in the sun, no wind at the summit. |
