| Comments: |
Connector trail from parking area to the original Mt Kinsman trail was sparsely covered with snow and/or ice with some bare ground, rock, and roots. Snow covering ice or a thin layer of all snow on Mt Kinsman Trail before Bald Peak spur. Beyond Bald Peak the snowshoe track was well compacted up to Kinsman Ridge. Kinsman Ridge well worn with icy areas where wind scoured off the snow especially around the South Kinsman summit. Entire trek can be walked with either snowshoes or light traction. |
