Parking/Access Road Notes: No big problems. I parked on the right side next to some large stones.

Water Crossing Notes: Fairly easy crossing right at the start.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few large blowdowns on the ridge, but there are workarounds already.

Dog-Related Notes: one pup, Anna, a Bull Mastiff, was lovin' it!

Comments: Enjoy this trail while you still can. No one apparently charging a fee yet to come up Polecat from what I learned.


The trail is remarkably dry right now, and I bare booted it . The ice flows that are forming can still be worked around. Overall, the trail is in good shape so get out & enjoy!
