Comments
Comments: Frozen ground and flow ice sections on the trail throughout. The whack was mostly frozen with some softer, muddy sections in places. Easy open woods and birch glades. Some flow water in the trail on the other side of the last crossing (as usual). Major blowdowns from just below the tent sites on Isolation Trail to where the winter whack joins the Davis Path. All can be navigated around, over, or under. All in all a good day today with calm conditions, warm temps, and sun. Thanks to Hiker Ed, Gary Thompkins, Nancy & Charlie Foote, and Kwi-Hui Skene, for a great hike.
