Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All three crossings reasonable, as water is lower. Rocks were slick and icy in the morning, and in a few places it was better to step on a submerged rock rather than an ice covered one. Used the bushwhack on the way back, and the single crossing was easier as some of the ice had melted. |

| Comments: |
Trail had patchy ice and frozen mud from the start, but not enough to slow anyone down; stream crossings noted above. Put on microspikes around 3500 due to ice and ice covered with a dusting of snow and left them on to the summit and back down to about the same place. Beautiful day, with little to no wind and a patchy undercast in the morning. Had the ledges all to ourselves and enjoyed the sunshine. |
