| Dog-Related Notes: |
While at the top eating lunch a drooling dog grabbed one of my gloves. His owner got it back for me but it should be noted that the dog's stupidity (and owner's) was only exceed by the high quality of the ducts within its salivary glands. Dogs should be leached. |

Light traction is a must towards the top. Lots of icy patches. But if the ice doesn't get you then this 3.2 mile boulder-strewn trail certainly will. Though it's sort of worth it when you get to the top, the fact of the matter is the Mt.Osceola trail, though not too steep, is treacherous even in the best of conditions. Like it's sister-trail, which goes steeply up to East Osceola from the Kanc, this one has the potential to leave you in pain (but with some nice pictures). |
