All were easily crossed. Some of the logs used to get through the mud were slick though. |

About 3-4 blowdowns - only one is considered a widow maker since you can't go under it. |

One Golden seemed to be enjoying the day just fine. |

 | Lost and Found: |
One glove - lost in the stream crossing - put it on the rock in the middle of the stream. It's grey and soaked. |

Quite a nice day out for Passaconaway. Only encountered a handful of other hikers. Good temps, low to zero wind. Some light snow (up to 3") is on the trail, but I bare booted the whole thing. My friends were inclined to use light traction, but there's just no ice yet to sink the teeth into. Mud crossings are fine - nothing too deep, and beginning to harden up. First 2-3 miles is an easy walk in the woods - well maintained, wide trail. |
