Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I lost one of my 6 point Crampons somewhere between the Washington Summit and the bottom of the Jewel Trail. Please contact me if you find it.

Comments
Comments: The summits were all in the clouds at 8:30 when we pulled into the Cog Railroad station. By the time we approached tree line on the Ammo trail, the summits had cleared. Ammo trail had 1-2 inches of snow on the flatter parts at the beginning. As we began climbing light traction was helpful. Wind wasn't an issue until we began climbing Monroe from lakes of the clouds. I'm guessing about 40mph sustained winds at the summit. After stopping for lunch at the Hut the winds seemed to drop quickly as we started the ascent of Washington. Trail was difficult with some drifts of snow covering ankle twisting rocks. I took off traction for the descent (and lost one of my 6 point crampons). Gulf side trail was much easier traveling, much less snow on this side of the mountain and hardly any wind. Jewel trail had drifts of snow again, in some places the drifts were 1-2 feet deep. Once below treeline the footing was much better. We finished in headlamps.
