None seen today. Only problem for dogs would have been wet feet at lower elevation leading to icing higher up where it was much colder. |

Great day on the trail. Damp/muddy/minimal packed snow lower down. Above the hut there was mostly packed snow (not deep, no drifts) with some ice under it. Light traction was helpful for the decent back to Zealand Hut.
