Comments
Comments: I was passed by 1 hiker today and met 28 hikers when I was coming down Mt. Carrigain on the Signal Ridge Trail. I also had time to hike the Carrigain Notch Trail to the height of land. This is a nice trail and the views of Mt. Lowell up close through the leafless trees were excellent. A really nice day, temps ranged from 25 to 40 with clear blue sky and a light breeze at times. The views from the tower were the best. Some clouds covered the Presidentials and Franconia Ridge. There was no snow at the trailhead but the snow started to appear at about 2500 feet with about 2 inches at the top of Carrigain. It's nice to have the Sawyer River Road open again.
