Hiked with my friend Mike today, checking off a couple more peaks. Snow ranged from a dusting down low to 2 inches on the ridge, hiding some ice in spots. Light traction should be carried at this point, though we only used it for the descent off South Hancock, and probably didn't really need it. Temperatures were comfortable, and the winds only really hit us on the ridge between the peaks, and weren't that bad. Love seeing winter take hold. Thanks Mike! |
