| Comments: |
Snow on the trail right from the start. The ground is not frozen so a lot of muddy, wet snow. We put the microspikes on at the junction for the steep ascent to the summit. Left them on for awhile until they were just getting full of "clumps" of snow/mud/ice and they became too much work. Not much wind in the woods but the summit was windy. |
