| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Went up the ATV path to the top of the ski area. In the lower sections it is pretty solid; in its upper sections it has soft mud sections and the ski ATVs have gone off it to the grass sides, which is what we did. The short stretch of hiking trail was fine; I moved one blowdown. |

| Comments: |
There were basically no signs a hurricane had hit. It looked line one tree had fallen into a trail and had been chainsawed. A small building by the main area had its base flooded. The upper part of the hike was in thick clouds but light wind. This was a quick peakbagging hike to beat the expected opening of the ski resort later in the month, and before going over to the main hike of the day of Carter Dome. |
