Really enjoyed first trip on reroute on Gale River Tr. Mostly drying mud today but can see why reports mention mudpits in wetter weather. |

Don't recall seeing one today. Sipping puddles available throughout. |

Few flying around not bothersome. |

Watch found at view spot at base of slide on Gale River Tr. |

Only really wet or muddy spots today were on the Frost Tr.. Rocks on way down Twinway and Gale River were wet later in afternoon from warm temps on cold rocks. Leaves hiding many rocks on lower part of Gale River Tr.. Nice conversations with hikers on North Twin, nice company with Emerel and another outstanding October day in the Whites. |
