Great day for these trails. Great views; warm temps - good to be in a t-shirt and shorts again. Edmand's Cutoff very difficult trail - that's a "once and done" for me - was afraid I'd kick a rock loose and get crushed on the parts of that trail that coincide with the rockslide (cairns falling over, etc - that part took SIGNIFICANTLY longer than book time). Rest of trails were very slippery - rocks wet due to humidity - had to be really careful. Saw a handful of people all day. Also, Grey Jays at the Quay were VERY aggressive - but cute!!!! |
