plenty of parking on a Tuesday morning. Sawyer river road is open. |

Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The water crossing just past the original intersection at the 1.7 mark was a bit of a challenge but doable. |

The three sections of new bypass tended to have muddy sections but all were "get thru" able with care. |

Actually saw some swarms of bugs but they werent interested in me.... |

Not my favorite trail but the payoff at the top is worth the annoying, seemingly never ending rocky upward slog. Very breezy on the ridge today. |
