| Comments: |
The few wet areas on the Glen Boulder Trail had plenty of rocks to step on to avoid the mud and water. Some slippery rocks in the treed area above Glen Boulder. Leaves on pathway from the trailhead up to the X-Country ski trail.
The Davis Path had water/mud just south of the junction with West Isolation. Bog bridges were rotting. Some wet areas just south of the junction with East Isolation.
Heard from other hikers that the Rocky Branch Trail was wet.
Forest Service signs posted at both Isolation Trail intersections with the Davis Path warning of trail closures on West Isolation, Dry River, and part of the Rocky Branch Trail.
Only a very small patch of snow on ice on the Glen Boulder Trail which caused no problem. No need for traction.
Met hikers finishing the 48 on Mt Isolation yesterday. |
