Comments
Comments: A great 5.7 mile loop hike - headed up Bald Peak Trail across to pleasant and down Ledges Trail along with a 1.5 mile road walk between the 2 trail heads; lots of people out today along the trails. High cloud cover but the foliage was amazing and heading towards peak. A bit cold and windy up top so bring the extra layers. Trails mostly dry - a few patches of mud on Bald Peak heading up and along the ridge over to Pleasant, there is a stretch with a fair amount of wet rock that was slick - between the junction with Sue's Way and the Big Bald Summit - trail has a lot of widening here as people are going up along the edges to avoid the wet rock.
