Comments
Comments: Had seen some forecasts that things were supposed to clear in the late afternoon, but they didn't really up here. Off and on showers in the afternoon and evening, making for a damp trail. Some minor to moderate patches of mud in the upper elevations. Lower elevations were damp grassy logging roads. Not much in way of redeeming qualities to this trail as far as I could tell.

Foliage is near or at peak from Lincoln to Randolph on I-93 to US 3 to Route 115 to US 2. Not peak yet in Gorham or Shelburne. Still a decent amount of green foliage on the middle half of the Wheeler Brook Trail.
