 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Maintained by the students of Hebron Academy. They've done a decent job, but the blazes painted on the steep upper ledgy section are mostly faded to near invisibility, and I heard several people on the summit discussing wrong turns. |

I sought this out because Brent Scudder added it the 2nd Ed. of his White Mountains Viewing Guide - his only peak I'd never heard of. The Trail is short but steep. You have to walk around to different vantage points on the summit to get all the views, but they are fine, and would be finer on a crisp Fall day without summer haze. The half dozen communications towers aren't a plus, but we learn to ignore them. |
