Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings were small and completely dry today.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Both trails in great shape. Not sure when the Maine Chapter of the AMC took over maintenance, but they've done a great job. Signage was new since I was last there. Twin Brook Trail not signed from the summit, but look for a large cairn on the west end of the summit clearing, and follow the path left, you'll eventually start seeing yellow blazes.

Bugs
Bugs: Flying around, not bothersome.

Comments
Comments: Took a quick hike up Burnt Meadow Mountain, thinking we were going to get rained on. It sprinkled for about 5 minutes on the way up, and then the sun came back out. Didn't really stop for long until we got back to the Twin Brook junction. Pretty strenuous for a short hike, glad I came back after 2 years!
