Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Trail Maintenance Notes: After upper Mt. Coe Trail jct, scrub is overgrown in places has washed-out sections of trail.

Dog-Related Notes: Not permitted in Baxter State Park 
Bugs
Bugs: Plentiful near trailhead, but elsewhere not a problem, since air was cool and there was a breeze.

Comments: Much cooler and windier at summit than in valley today. 360-degree views, especially towards Katahdin and Traveler.
