Comments
Comments: Upper section of Cold Brook is a beautiful trail, what a great suprise, nice views and great ledges! Lower 2 miles of Cold Brook are horrible, if you are looking to hike Speckled, use the Evergreen Link trail. If you are going up Cold Brook, follow the logging road, there are a couple signs to keep you going in the right direction, then you'll have to climb over a pile of downed trees to get to the junction. Saw some people on Speckled, but that was it for the day.
