Parking/Access Road Notes: Shared with trailhead for East Royce, room for 10 cars about 3/4 full at noon when I arrived

Trail Maintenance Notes: Usual older stepover blowdowns in onSpruce Hill in Wilderness Area, One large (12 inch) new duckunder blowdown on Spruce Hill below high point

Dog-Related Notes: An easy hike though no water along the trails today except for a small trickle about 3/4 mile in so bring extra

Bugs: A few out today, flies and mosquitos, got a few bites

Comments: An easy up and down to Speckled Mountain, dry trails with the exception of a few damp spots; cloudy and humid out today but still great views up top; only a few people out today I guess most had headed up East Royce; got back to the parking lot just as it started to rain
