Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There were logs placed at deep water crossing over marsh on Bemis Stream Trail, thus eliminating need for thigh deep wading or a long bushwhack around the marsh. Both Bemis Stream crossings were easy due to low water.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bemis Stream Trail was maintained this year and in good shape. AT was in good shape, as expected.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Minor black flies and mosquitoes - did not require bug spray. Had only one dive bombing from a deer fly. That was a pleasant surprise!

Comments
Comments: I take this trip every year. It is a rough and strenuous 11 mile loop (plus a mile mountain bike ride between the two trailheads). Did not see anyone until the 9 mile mark.
