Trail Maintenance Notes: Chatham Trails Assn. has everything in fine shape, but signage at west end is spotty. Invest in the CTA's excellent Evans Notch trail map and all will be clear.

Bugs
Bugs: Blackflies and mosquitoes in considerable number.

Comments
Comments: A sign at the start says the Trail is closed due to beaver flooding, 0.5 mile ahead. That must refer to the south section of the Conant Trail, which crosses Pine Hill, since I found only dry trails. I avoided the south segment by the Mine Loop Trail.
