Spectacular. One of the most scenic hikes I've ever done. Basically a carriage road through open blueberry fields with mountain views in one direction and ocean views in the other.
Beautiful rock summit building with a grass covered roof. Apparently the building is open select times of the year. It's very neat just to be on the rock porch, taking in the views.
From this direction, it's about 1.2 miles roundtrip with smooth, easy grades.
If in the Camden/Rockport area, this is a must. |
