Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns on Carriage Road Trail and Carriage Trail. Sign missing at Tableland-Nature Trail junction (ie saying what/where the trail to Mt. Megunticook goes), caused confusion for half a dozen hikers at the junction, as well as me trying to get around them (and ending up going down the Nature Trail by accident).

Comments
Comments: Carriage Road Trail had some significant mud sections, possibly due to overnight rain. Nice views from Battie, tower and otherwise. Auto road didn't congest the summit as much as some other auto road peaks I've been to.
Upper Tableland Trail (Battie side) was also quite muddy - I ended up jumping back onto the auto road to avoid it.

Took the Nature Trail by accident in the col due to missing sign/confused crowd of hikers. Turned around shortly after passing over a crag.

Didn't find any views atop Mt. Megunticook, however the Ocean Lookout .4 miles before it (big cliff views) was spectacular.

Carriage Trail was a little drier than the Carriage Road Trail, however the flats were still quite muddy.
