 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Leashes required on park trails, An easy loop though on a lot of rock which might be hard on the paws; there are some nasty drop offs along Emery Path so some may want to keep an eye on the canines, no water on trails until you your get down to Canon Brook on the way out. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Out down low in the trees and biting, winds helped keep them away up top. |

Another beautiful day in Acadia with blue skies and endless views. This is a nice loop that gives you all the views without the crowds on top of Cadillac. All trails dry with a few wet patches. Emery Path provides nice open views on its way up the cliffs on Dorr on a nicely created trail - you're in the open with steep drop offs as you head up but trail is easy and safe, views on top are just as good. Dorr south ridge provides a lesser travelled alternative to get down. Huge beaver pond/dam down low on Canon. Met several hikers today but thankfully avoided the hundreds of people on top Cadillac. |
