Comments
Comments: This was a perfect hike this morning. The temps were delightfully cool and crisp. The tote road is dry but very leaf covered. The footing is really good still since there aren't any large rocks hiding in the leaves. And there were FOUR piles of bear poop on the road. Someone is very well fed. The Mt Zircon trail has quite a few leaves down low but as you get higher it's less covered. The rocks were mostly dry but we assumed anything wet was icy and avoided them. There is no need for traction yet. The views were incredible today! This is such a sweet little local mountain and what a lovely way to start the day before embarking on wedding preparations!
