Comments
Comments: Today it was freezing. About 1 hour from logan brook lean to-started to rain. All wood was frozen, the top of white cap was frozen. Rain pants kind of day. Wish I had some sort of traction but I never fell just slipped a few times. After the rain, which was freezing on the rocks too, changed to sleet and then finally snow! Thankful for the new handicap privy's on mountains (yes makes 0 sense) but nice shelter for me to change things out haha. Got to the last lean to before KI road and back to rain, everything was soaked. I hit the road and knew of the weather so I booked a bunk at Gorman Chairback hut and cabins. Well worth it! Bunk room had a wood stove, staff was amazing, food was great, could buy a bottle of wine, hit the sauna and a shower all before bed! It was about 1.7 miles uphill road walk but for sure worth it!
