Great day to be oot and aboot. Felt almost like a fall day with a chilly breeze on the summit. Only passed a couple thru hikers and had the summit to ourselves. The section from cranberry pond to the peak is less traveled and has amazing rocks/ ledges and mossy forest. Well worth the trip. Passing the pond is great, climbing around some jumbled rocks. I was surprised the lack of people that we saw out. All going other places I suppose. We talked about how fun it is to return to the same trails and collect memories over the years. One of my absolute favorites. |
