Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Success Pond Rd has been recently graded up to near Goose Eye/Carlo Col Trailhead..lots of small loose rocks and some larger ones so caution needed for small clearance vehicles..at least could over 25 mph in spots!! Takes about 40-45 minutes to get to Speck Pond parking from Berlin..

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: First one dry, second one very dry also..just walked on rocks that had no running water near..

Trail Maintenance Notes: Two minor blow downs removed..drainages in good shape...trimmed some protruding branches..

Bugs: few lazy deer flies, but be too muggy for skeeters and black flies!!

Comments: Just a trail work day before high heat hit..still very humid and wet from overnight rain, make for good id-ing overhanging branches..trail is better than it was yesterday!!
