 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I don’t know what the deal is with this trail. The orange ropes were kind of a mess up high. It’s marked more like a ski trail than a hiking trail. A few blowdowns if I recall, not huge. |

The Maine Mountain guide came in handy for finding this trailhead that isn’t really shown on maps. There is some signage but it’s not great and I got confused in the beginning and followed a herd path through some delicious raspberries that distracted me before joining the grassy road again. A very interesting hike and I saw a total of 10 other people out, but did have the summit to myself for a bit around noon. I could hear lots of chainsawing and ski area construction. |
