The access road to the summit fire tower & communications bling starts out off Blackstrap Road to the west as a driveway shared with a house, then passes through a gate. The road is not posted against hikers. There was enough pullout room on Blackstrap Road for a car to park nearby. |

Visit to the Blackstrap Hill fire tower. Sadly, the tower is off limits behind a fence and is afflicted with commercial communications equipment. At only 0.3 or so to the top, it's worth a look if you're a fire tower buff, but there are no views or other interesting features. |
