Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: High clearance vehicle needed to get to the gate. About .25-.5 miles before the last bridge the road seems almost washed out. Really rocky/lopsided road. Then about 1.5-2miles before the AT trailhead right after this rocky section the bridge is damaged and marked closed. There's a redirect to the right, again high clearance vehicles only, you have to go through a stream and its quite rutted throughout the route around. THEN there are exposed and/or collapsed culverts (but that feels minor after the bridge). Otherwise the first 10 miles on Frenchtown rd were relatively smooth going.
